In the second pre-season game of its training camp, the Montreal Impact won a second match by shutout in as many days, defeating the Laval University Rouge et Or 8-0 (halftime 2-0), Sunday, in front of a sell out crowd of 800 spectators at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus, in St-Augustin, near Quebec City.
Forward Eduardo Sebrango registered a hat trick, scoring in the 29th, 47th and 56th minute. Defender Stefano Pesoli (13th minute), forward Jean-Baptiste Fritzon (49th minute), midfielder Sandro Grande, on a penalty (58th minute), forward Pierre-Rudolph Mayard (64th minute) and defender Adam Braz (66th minute) also scored for the Impact. Goalkeeper Matt Jordan registered the shutout.
The Impact will play its third exhibition game this Saturday at 8 pm at the Bell Sports Complex, in Brossard.
