So after the Second Knockout Round is now completely over who do you think will win the Champions League from here?
I personally think any of the English teams realisticly have a great chance from here. The only foreign team I can see challenging them now is barca and they will be without Messi for the next round so the chances of beating them now is higher than normal. So if one of the english teams get them in the next round they still have a good chance of going through imo.
So for me we could very much realisticly have all 4 english teams in the semi finals against each other. That would be great for The FA and English Football and all but personally I'd rather have 1 foreign team like Barca left in there cause tbh Chelsea/Liverpool twice a season is boring enough but 4 times is too much for me. Who knows they may get a half exiting match out of it :p Doubt it though.
From here though and before the draw on Friday I think that it will be between United/Barca/Arsenal and Liverpool.

Man utd won't win, they'll face a half decent team, ronaldo will aptly accept his place in whichever defenders pocket and then Man utd will lose (just like last year)
So who will knock out man utd? probably Barca.
Arsenal, chelsea and liverpool (chelsea have proved they can take on barca, as did liverpool last year.) all are capable of beating barca.
To be honest tho, if the draw is kind to them I think Roma could win it. they have a talented young squad and they have been my dark horses this season.
I do hope Chelsea avoid, liverpool tho. Not so much cause they are a pain in the arse and keep knocking Chelsea out (well fair enough thats why) but I like Chelsea to play foreign teams in the champs lg (thats kinda the point of the cup).
I hope chelsea draw fenerbache. not cause they are the easiest, but then barca can knock out liverpool. arsenal play man utd. barca knock out their winner in the semi. chelsea play roma in the semi then if it all goes well chelsea vs barca. :thanks:

Liverpool might win because they will need to win SOMETHING this season and they'll concentrate more on the UEFA cup. Liverpool's got no chance on winning the ELP, they're out of the FA cup [along with the big 4] and Liverpool does good in UEFA cups.

english teams can't draw each other in round of 16 they can be drawn in quarter finals as far is know i think chelsea , man utd , barca have best chance all though like always liverpool can concentrate on uefa cup so they are a threat as well

I think it was three or such years ago it happened. Liverpool played Arsenal i think in the round of 16. Though may have been different teams or round.

Arsenal ;) We are on a roll after out playing the defending champs in both legs. But if i had to tip another team i'd probally go with Roma.
I honestly think Barca will bow out this round, there you go i said it Barca will lose!

yeah that was in 2005/06 season. where they drew Chelsea in the group stages.
Im pretty sure tho, that from the quarter final anyone can draw anyone.

even tough you have a note of sarcasm in this post, you have a point there. that's why they're my favorites. either them or Barca again.
I don't see Roma winning it. they're arguably the weakest team currently, but who knows.
Fenerbahce have suprised me a lot. positively but I think their lack of experience will prove lethal for them.
and as far as the other English teams.. I think ManU have had the easiest way in so far and haven't really been scoring many goals, but LFC was in the same situation last year, and they got to the final.
Chelsea, hmm.. they're the underdogs.. note: FOR ME AND MY CALCULATIONS! (so gr-8 doesn't jump on my back about talking this way of them generally) But you never know...
Arsenal-like Fenerbahce, but I give them more odds. Most of the team are young and lack some very important experience, but are brilliant in the EPL which is a much stronger league than the Turkish...

Like i've said, regardless of whether Chelsea win anything or nothing, they have been true heroes this year. The players have shown character and resillience, thats the greatest quality a team can have.
I measure it like this. Man Utd fans will say this has been their greatest season since 1999. (the treble).
I would say this has been Chelsea's toughest season since 2005. Cech, Terry, Carvalho, Lampard, Drogba, Essien, Ballack to name just a few have all missed a significant amount of the season. Jose Mourinho departed, Avram Grant came in with next to no experience, Reports persist of whats happening inside the team.
Yet Chelsea are level with Man Utd at the top of the league, same position in the champions league, FA cup and went to the carling cup final.
so who deserves more adulation?

I'm a huge Man Utd fan, and I wish they win the UCL, but I feel Chelsea comes more stronger than ManU, it will be a good game, and my prediction is that the one that wins the premier, will be the winner of the Champions

i voted for Chelsea because they are the underdogs. It is going to be very hard for Alex Ferguson and his team to focus on bot titles. And I think with the way they are tight up with Chelsea in the EPL table, Alex is not going to take any crazy risk. He is going to continue focusing on performing great on EPL games therefore that can make less focused on Champions League game and his time more tired for the big CL game.
