Munich, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Luca Toni scored a pair of goals in a 3-0 Bayern Munich win over Nurnberg at Allianz Arena on Sunday.
The win allows Bayern to continue its dominance over the rest of the Bundesliga, as the team now holds a five-point edge over second-place Karlsruhe.
Toni put the hosts ahead 31 minutes into the game, and Ze Roberto doubled the lead five minutes before halftime to put Bayern in a comfortable spot. Toni then secured all three points with his second goal of the game in the 81st minute.
Bayern was clearly in control from the start, and after a few missed chances, Toni put them on the board. Hamit Altintop had a free kick from 35 yards and he drove a hard shot on target that was headed for the left post. The ball skipped on the ground and keeper Jaromir Blazek got down to stop it, but he spilled a rebound that Toni pounced on and slammed into the back of the net.
