The teams may be nowhere near confirmed but we can announce the provisional dates for this season's Coca-Cola Football League Play-Off Semi-Finals, so you can make sure you don't miss the chance to see your side winning promotion.

Because of the World Cup this summer the Play-Off Finals will not be all played over one weekend, as in previous seasons.

Remember all dates and times for the semi-finals are provisional and will not be confirmed until the clubs involved are finalised. The Finals for all three divisions will take place at Wembley with:

The Coca-Cola Championship on Saturday 22nd May
Cardiff City Vs. Blackpool
League 1 on Saturday 29th May
League 2 on Sunday 30th May.

Shame they're not all on the same weekend, playoff weekend was always really good fun. Lots of beer and lots of football!

A stunning free-kick from Peter Whittingham ensured it is advantage Cardiff City at the halfway stage of their Championship play-off semi-final with Leicester.

It was a tight affair that ensued at the Walkers Stadium before Whittingham's perfectly executed free-kick 12 minutes from time, which caught Chris Weale unawares at his near post.

John Still turns pipe dream into reality for Daggers

Dag & Red, who were playing in the Isthmian League just 10 years ago, won promotion to the third tier of English football in a scintillating League Two play-off final on Sunday.

The domestic season closed with one of the most romantic successes possible; a decade after playing Canvey Island and Heybridge Swifts, Dagenham will face Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday in League One.
